It’s a horrible morning on the internet, and here’s some lovely news.

Hi everyone! We have quite a bit of Goose News to share with you. We know we let things go a bit quiet with our Untitled Goose Game, which isn’t the natural state for a goose. A lot has happened since we released that video late last year, and we’re finally able to share it with you! So, let’s get into the news!

New Trailer Alert!

We made a new trailer! We personally find it to be very funny. Also, it has a few glimpses of sections of the game we haven’t shown off yet. As it turns out, Untitled Goose Game isn’t just a game about hassling one man in a garden—it’s also about hassling someone while they try to run their shop! And while they have a cup of tea in their backyard! And maybe… more…?

The Goose is coming to Nintendo Switch and Computers early next year!

As you may have seen earlier today in Nintendo’s Nindie Showcase, our Untitled Goose Game is going to be launching on Nintendo Switch! This of course means that you’ll be able to play Untitled Goose Game both at home and on the go, so you can theoretically disturb the sanctity of a quiet town while you disturb the sanctity of a quiet town. It feels like a perfect fit to us, and everyone at Nintendo has been very welcoming.

Add us to your Steam wishlist!

Alongside Switch, we’ll also be launching on PC & Mac via Steam, which we just put up a fancy new page for! We’d love it if you wishlisted the game, and told us all about your traumatic/beautiful goose experiences in the forums. As for your other favourite platforms, there are only four of us, so we’re currently focused on Switch/PC/Mac for launch, but we want to get our ornery baby out to as many people as possible—so watch this space.

Speaking of small teams and new developments, Untitled Goose Game will now be launching in early 2019! We want to make sure we bring you the most accurate possible goose simulator, with the maximum amount of mischief and polish. Thanks for sticking with us!

We're being published by Panic!

We’re also very excited to announce that we’ve partnered with the lovely people at Panic, who will be publishing Untitled Goose Game on all platforms. You might know them for their excellent work as co-publishers of the beautiful Firewatch—a poignant and complex examination of escapism and, ultimately, responsibility. Obviously, a game about a naughty goose is the natural next step in their lineup, and we’re honoured and thrilled to have their input and support as we focus on finishing the game!

We’re working with these nice people!

We’re incredibly chuffed to be working with Em Halberstadt and her team at A Shell in the Pit, who are helping to make our game sound much, much nicer. Em did the sound design on Night in the Woods and we’re so happy to have her working with us! We’re also collaborating with the amazing Kalonica, who is helping us bring our sleepy village to life with animation support and general beautification. Aaaand we’re glad to be getting all kinds of help and advice from the wise and lovely Felix Kramer and Nick Suttner. Finally, we’re happy to be working once again with the tireless Dan Golding, who made the absolutely perfect soundtrack for Push Me Pull You.

We’re going to PAX West! We’ll have a cool booth! And merch!

If you’re attending PAX West in Seattle this weekend, please stop by and see us at Booth 6516, on the 6th floor! You’ll be able to play the game on Switch for the very first time, as well as PC. It will also be playable in the Nintendo booth, which is very exciting!! Panic has put together an amazing booth for us, so if you’re at PAX please come play our Goose Game in a real-life slice of English garden!

We’ve also put together an assortment of special treats for your pleasure, and will have them with us at PAX. We had enough trouble designing one shirt, so asked our friends Ruan Van Vliet and Jenny Jiao Hsia to help! We’re so incredibly happy with the results! Here they are, fresh from the printers:

Then we went and designed some very special Untitled Goose Game socks / sock-puppets. They’re allowed to go on your hands, or your feet. It’s your choice!

We’ll also be giving away NO GOOSE buttons (including an Ultra-Rare Horrible Edition):

(Ultra-Rare Horrible Edition not pictured)

If you can’t make it to PAX, we hope to make everything available to buy online in the not-too-distant future!

And, finally, we have a new website!

Thanks to Panic, the goose also has a beautiful new website! If you’re on a computer, try giving that trowel a little click. ;-)

And again, we’d really appreciate it if you could wishlist us on Steam!

Thanks so much for the support so far, everybody! We’re working hard to bring you the best possible/most horrible goose game we can, and we truly appreciate your ongoing excitement.

Lots of love,
