We are thrilled to share that Forsyth County 4-H is once again partnering with Front Door Produce for our Fall Fundraiser!

If you haven’t participated before, there are two simple ways to join in:
1.    Buy a box for your family – enjoy a delicious variety of fresh, locally sourced produce.
2.    Buy a box for donation – all donated boxes will go directly to Meals by Grace, who deeply appreciate receiving a big delivery of fresh produce just before Thanksgiving.

They’re fresh, healthy, and a great way to support 4-H while also giving back to the community.

👉 Order today: Front Door Produce Fundraiser
Boxes will be delivered to the 4-H Office the week of November 17 for easy pickup.

🌿 Community Partnership at Denmark Library
Forsyth County 4-H and the Master Naturalist Extension Volunteers are excited to partner with the Denmark Library for a Clean-Up Day! Youth, volunteers, and the Extension staff will join together to help beautify the library grounds by picking up litter, pulling weeds, and giving the space a fresh look. We will meet at the library at 10AM on October 25 and work until 1PM. This is a great way for 4-H’ers to give back to the community, earn service hours, and make a positive impact in a place where so many families gather to learn and grow. To RSVP, reach out to Mr. Pranav.

🍀 National 4-H Week: October 5–11
Join us in celebrating National 4-H Week from October 5–11! This year’s theme, Beyond Ready!, highlights how 4-H empowers young people with the skills, experiences, and confidence they need to succeed in life and leadership. Throughout the week, we’ll showcase the impact of 4-H in Forsyth County and across the nation. Make sure you're following us on social media, and make sure you keep engaged with us all week!

🎃 Forsyth County Public Safety Trunk or Treat 2025
Forsyth County 4-H is excited to participate in the Forsyth County Public Safety Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. at the Cumming Fairgrounds Parking Lot (235 Castleberry Rd.). This family-friendly event is hosted by local public safety agencies and provides children with a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween. Admission is one bag of individually wrapped candy per family. Be sure to stop by the 4-H trunk—we can’t wait to see you there!

Teen leaders: be on the lookout for an email from Ms. Heather about signing up to help the staff at this event!

Join the 4-H Staff at the Chick-fil-A on Larry Mulkey Memorial Road on November 20 from 6AM to 10PM for 4-H Club Spirit Day!  Participation is simple. Place an order through Drive-Thru, Carry-Out, Dine-In, or Mobile Ordering with the code FOURH, and a percentage of the day's sales will be donated to the local program!

Youth in 4th-8th grade this school year are invited to learn more about the Forsyth County 4-H Firepower BB Team at an interest meeting on Thursday, October 9 at 7 p.m. at the Forsyth County Extension Office (5110 Piney Grove Rd).

Coaches will share important details about team expectations, safety, and cost. Practice schedules will be set after families discuss what works best for the group.

Participation on the BB team offers more than just learning how to safely handle a firearm. Shooting sports help youth:

·         Build focus and discipline.

·         Develop patience and perseverance as they work to improve accuracy.

·         Gain confidence by setting and reaching goals.

·         Learn teamwork and sportsmanship while competing alongside peers.

·         Understand the importance of safety and responsibility.
