Questionable appointment at the SBU
On October 8, Roman Matkovskyi, who organized a fake paid 'rally' near Shabunin's house back in April 2017, was appointed as the first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine's department on the protection of national statehood.

In March 2017, AntAC filed a lawsuit against the Security Service of Ukraine for hiding e-declarations of their senior management. Schemy's
investigation proved that SBU stood behind the April 'rally', while Matkovskyi was coordinating filming of the 'protest' with a drone. “Sell your house, and buy the NABU the rights to wiretap” - the 'protesters' of SBU's rally were holding weird posters and could not explain their claims to Shabunin.
Scandalous District Administrative Court of Kyiv reinstated former head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine

Key newsmaking court surprised again - it reinstated Stanislav Shevchuk as the head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. Under Shevchuk's presidency, the Court decriminalized illicit enrichment in February 2019. More about Shevchuk and other judges of the Constitutional Court.

Issues with the draft law on illicit enrichment
During the press-marathon, President Zelenskyi replied to journalist's question regarding draft law #1031 on illicit enrichment, which was supposed to be adopted last plenary week but was postponed. President explained that some Sluga Narodu MPs are opposing the adoption of this bill as much-experienced MPs from other factions managed to deceive and mislead SN newcomers (he did not say the names), but he also promised that his faction will vote for the bill.

It is critically important that the plenary votes for the bill in the form which was supported by the Rada Anticorruption Committee and does not water it down.

Earlier, the draft law was put on the plenary agenda for October 3, but the Speaker passed it, in violation of the Rules of Procedure. Afterwards, Sluga Narodu leadership explained that part of the faction refused to support the draft law.

Full text of NGOs' May submission to OFAC against Lutsenko

This complaint, supported by 20 Ukrainian NGOs, was sent to the US Treasury in May 2019. It is a consolidated opinion of Ukrainian civil society that Yuriy Lutsenko contributed to grave corruption and human rights violations in Ukraine. Considering that Yuriy Lutsenko continues spreading disinformation and lies we are publishing the full text of our May complaint.

Who is Derkach who spreads new old 'sensations'?
On October 9, MP Andriy Derkach gave a 'sensational' press-conference claiming again Ukrainian intervention in the U.S. elections. We want to remind that this is the same MP, whose amendment  to postpone the launch of the e-declarations system for one year which was
deliberately hidden in the 2016 state budget threatened Ukrainian cooperation with the IMF and implementation of the EU visa liberalization action plan. In November 2016 we appealed to NABU with a statement of a crime concerning the filing of false information by Derkach about his income in the e-declaration.

Derkach is the son of Leonid Derkach – former Head of the Security Service of Ukraine and former MP. Media also call Derkach the godson of the former President Leonid Kuchma. He is also a former member of Yanukovych's Party of Regions. More info about him - in the dossier on pep.org.ua.

WSJ: Two Giuliani Associates Who Helped Him on Ukraine Charged With Campaign-Finance Violations
Full WSJ story.  Last week we already informed that the Hill's John Solomon approved his defamation article against AntAC with Lev Parnas and two Firtash's lawyers.
