of potential interest to Yale School of Art alumni:
From Nicholas Weist of Shandaken Projects:
Applications are now open for Paint School, a free master class in the theory and practice of painting. This lecture-based program brings twelve fellows together with the most exceptional painters in the New York City area including Josephine Halvorson, Byron Kim, Ulrike Müller, Howardena Pindell, and Faith Ringgold. Presented in the style of a post-graduate fellowship, this program aims to enrich the discourse of contemporary painting through peer exchange. Applications for the 2017-18 session will accepted through October 20. See shandakenprojects.org for more information.
