Where do Gwinnett County Candidates for Sheriff Stand on Policing and Immigration Enforcement?
On June 9th, the residents of Gwinnett County in Georgia will get a chance to vote in the primary election for Sheriff. The Sheriff has the power over jails and can choose whether to work with immigration enforcement affecting the lives of our communities.
The Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (GLAHR), Southerners on New Ground (SONG) and Mijente Support Committee came together and created a questionnaire that was sent to all the candidates running for Sherriff.
Join us for a "digital town hall" to hear what the Gwinnett County Sheriff candidates responded and discuss how their positions can impact our lives, hosted by GLAHR, Mijente Support Committee & SONG.
