We are thrilled to announce our first group of 2018 Ideas for Action Regional Finalists! Moving forward, each week we will be sharing the top 10% of teams from varied regions and countries who will be entering the next round of review by senior experts in the sustainable development field.

This week, it is our pleasure to announce the 2018 I4A Regional Finalists from Ghana, South Africa, and Cameroon.  In order to maintain a level playing field, groupings and ratios are based on the size of the proposal pool from each particular region.  With an unprecedented number of proposals submitted this year, being selected as a Regional Finalist is a tremendous achievement, and Ideas for Action will be promoting our Regional Finalists throughout the year in a number of new ways.  In doing so, we hope to create a community of young innovators who can gain global recognition, support each other, and serve as young leaders in the sustainable development innovation community.

For those who have not been selected in the top 10% of your region, we want you to know that this was an incredibly difficult process and that over the next few months you will each receive direct constructive feedback on your proposals.  We encourage you to use the feedback to improve and further develop your ideas and look forward to reviewing your further developed proposals next year.

Thank you, as always, for your lending your passion and talents toward improving our shared global community, and stay tuned next week for another group of
2018 Ideas for Action Regional Finalists!
