Carrie here - I can't believe it's been a year and 3 months since Stacey and I first connected.
It was mid November of 2020 and I had just seen her and Joel sing their hearts out on one of the United In Yah events. I felt a connection with her immediately and knew I needed to reach out to her. A few emails later, we were in full swing with our "sisterhood!" Sharing our journeys, our love for the Father and His Son, our desires to be used according to His plan as well as regular "life" updates.
Video chats and messages would be considered long and many for most, however having the fellowship, family and spiritual connection is precious, valued and much needed in today's world and we cherish and enjoy every minute of it.
I was also blessed to have Stacey connect me with Dena, a life-long friend of hers who also loves YHWH and His truth. She has also tuned in to countless "Carrie Episodes" in video chats. What a wonderful thing to be able to share, study and fellowship with other "Sistah's" in Yah.
So, finally after many hours of video chats, emails and texts Victor and I made the trek last week from warm sunny Costa Rica to Virginia during their coldest month of the year! Yep, call me crazy but I tend to lean towards "just do it" when YHWH leads, so we went.
Victor and I had such a wonderful time, we were able to meet and hug our Covenant Family (many not pictured) and we spent 3 days praying, singing, laughing, crying and praising His Name!
We are all on this wonderful journey of living for Yah together, and I'm grateful for the relationships He brings into our lives.
