Hey there,

Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the disastrous water switch in Flint. Activists were out in droves to protest the water that is STILL contaminated, undrinkable, and unusable, despite the State's declarations to the contrary. Residents took a bus to Lansing to make their voices heard.

Here are additional, powerful clips where people share heartbreaking stories of what the water has done to their lives and families:

Jordan was also able to nail down Rep. Dan Kildee (who represents Flint), who has now called for an investigation into the State's water testing based on our reporting:

The week has also been filled with interviews with Flint residents, following up on our Flushing Flint documentary reporting, and working on a new investigation that we'll hopefully be able to reveal soon.

And we couldn't have made this trip without YOU! Thank you so much for your support and donations. If you want to help keep us out in the field doing stories like this, please contribute to our GoFundMe, which goes straight to our in-field reporting, equipment, and other reporting needs.

You can also become a sustaining member and make a huge difference for Status Coup and what we're able to do and the stories we're able to break and stay on.

We'll be sharing more from our jam-packed trip to Flint soon—stay tuned.

~
Jenn, Jordan, and Ty
