We’re within reach of winning up to $15,000 in extra funds to support The Electronic Intifada’s reporting on Palestine in 2018.
But I need your support to get there with very little time left. If you have not done so, would you make a donation now – before midnight US Pacific time?
Right now, we’re still at 1st place for Most Donors on Network for Good’s Giving Tuesday Leader Board (The Electronic Intifada appears as “Middle East Cultural and Charitable Society”).
We’ve also climbed back up to 3rd place for Most Dollars Raised. Remember, this is out of more than 7,000 charities taking part in the challenge. I can tell you it’s been a nail-biter all day.
Network for Good will award up to $5,000 in prize money if we’re able to finish in the top spots.
But this is the big one: we need to hit our goal of $75,000 by midnight to unlock a $10,000 challenge grant from a private donor.
As of now, our readers have donated $66,000. We are so grateful for this incredible generosity and solidarity.
However, time is running out. We have just a few hours to raise that final $9,000.
So please make a gift right now. Donations are welcome from any country and are tax-deductible for US taxpayers.
I’m really excited about how many people have taken part in this challenge.
They see the critical importance and impact of hard-hitting coverage and analysis that smashes Israel’s propaganda and informs and inspires people all over the world to take action for justice in Palestine. I want you to be part of this too.

Much of this high-quality work is done by young reporters, photographers and videographers in Palestine who we mentor – and learn from – every day. Publishing their work is what I am most proud of, because I know it’s changing hearts and minds.
All day today, we’ve received wonderful emails and phone calls from supporters telling us how good it makes them feel to see their donations making this work a reality.
It makes us feel good too, because we know we’re part of something bigger that's really contributing to the struggle for justice.
We’ve got a lot more to do in 2018.
