Hey there,
It's Jenn again, writing you from Flint. You've probably noticed that Jordan hasn't been doing live interviews yesterday and today. But he's by no means sitting down and staying silent! He's "gone dark" a bit because he's hot on an investigative trail.
We've been doing some off-camera and behind-the-scenes interviews. This alongside knocking on doors and getting some answers, old-school journalism style. We can't talk about exactly what we're doing and what we're looking for quite yet, but it's BIG. Seriously... stay tuned. If it's what we think it is, it's game over for some VERY bad actors in Flint and in Michigan in general. We have found some genuinely disgusting corruption.
Meanwhile, there are some fantastic interviews up with residents that I don't want you to miss. Check them out!
Also, if you can, please help us reach our funding goals for this in-state reporting trip in Flint. We're being very transparent about what the money is going toward—literally rock-bottom rate travel and reporting. This matters. THANK YOU for all who have generously sponsored the trip so far. Here's the link if you can sponsor some groundbreaking reporting on the Flint Water Crisis: http://JordanChariton.com/Sponsor
You can also become a monthly Patron to support Jordan's reporting and our efforts to build our new media company, Status Coup. Here's that link: http://Patreon.com/JordanCharitonReports (we'd LOVE to reach 400 Patrons at that link by the end of this Flint trip).
And now... here are the interviews you definitely won't want to miss:

Flint resident Jill found an orange, octopus-like growth in her sink. Jordan reads the breakdown of what they found the growth was, how the health department dropped the ball, and how this is yet another dangerous result of the Flint Water Crisis.

Flint resident who worked for the Michigan Department of Health tells Jordan they were told to flush their pipes (run the water) before sampling, which results in a lower lead reading then is present in reality. The reason they were given for the request to flush pipes by MDEQ? "No one told us not to."

Thanks again for your support! Please share this content, sponsor this trip if you can (we've bumped up our funding goals for this reporting trip for reasons that will be clear very soon... this is major). And consider becoming a monthly Patron.
We CAN'T do this without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
~
Jenn
