Welcome to the December 2017 edition of Sajid Javid MP's newsletter
WELCOME

Firstly, allow me to take the opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

The last month has seen me host my second Annual Pensioners Advice and Information Fair. It was a great success, with 55 exhibitors offering free information and advice to over 500 residents who turned out on the day. You can read Bromsgrove's verdict on the fair here and here.

Thank you to our sponsors, First Bus Group and Reddifast Wire, and all the exhibitors and volunteers for helping to put on such a fantastic event. I look forward to hosting my third fair next year.
Last Saturday marked Small Business Saturday across the UK. Small businesses make a valuable contribution to our local community and economy and I’m so proud of all of our businesses in Bromsgrove District.

On behalf of Bromsgrove, I’d like to congratulate His Royal Highness, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their exciting news. We look forward to the Royal Wedding!

Finally, it's excellent news that the unemployment rate remains at just 1% in Bromsgrove. Very encouraging, but as always there's more to do.

It's important for me to hear your comments, thoughts, and feedback, so please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Sajid Javid
Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove
