Endorses Jessi Ebben for Congress

“It is refreshing to find a congressional candidate who understands servant leadership and exhibits the qualities needed to represent all whom she will serve. She will be an incredible congresswoman," said Earl Ells, Village President of Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. 

Ells is a business owner, chief controller of the Volk Field Air Traffic Control Tower and currently enlisted in the Wisconsin Air National Guard. Ells briefly considered running for this congressional seat, but was enthused to find the perfect candidate who shared his conservative views, forward vision of the district and an understanding of what it will take to win this election.

“This district seems to always put forward a certain profile of a candidate to run against Ron Kind and always comes up short; Jessi is a refreshing change!” 

Earl Ells has won all six of his municipal elections and will serve as campaign manager for Ebben for Congress. “I’m excited to accept this challenge and help push this incredible candidate to victory," said Ells, who follows John Christy as the second veteran to join the Ebben for Wisconsin congressional campaign committee. “When I explored my own congressional candidacy, I would frequently ask Republican Party leadership what would be the most ideal candidate to beat Ron Kind; an overwhelming majority stated, a young, female veteran; well, it’s safe to say, Ebben just got her veteran.”

Ells focused the early part of his exploratory campaign speaking with district leadership and elected officials, as well as gaining independent and some Democratic support. Ells will bring that focus and support with him as he joins team Ebben. “Jessi understands the importance of listening to all residents in this Wisconsin district. She understands that a candidate will always be victorious when you listen to and advocate for the voice the people.”
