Professor Rabab Abdulhadi (2nd from the right) is an old friend of USPCN, and played a leading role in both of our founding national conferences.

Today, she needs our support!

The right-wing zionist organization, The Lawfare Project, has filed a lawsuit against San Francisco State University (SFSU). The suit "conflates criticism of Israel and its denial of Palestinian rights with anti-Semitism, and on that basis charges SFSU with violating the constitutional and civil rights of Jewish students and community members."

This is a clear attempt to intimidate and punish Palestinian academics and students, as well as all campus supporters of Palestinian rights, and only the latest of a series of attacks from several zionist groups against Dr. Abdulhadi and the Arab Muslim and Ethnicities Diasporas (AMED) Studies program at SFSU.

USPCN is asking its friends and supporters for two things in defense of Dr. Abdulhadi:

1. Sign this letter to Defend Academic Freedom at San Francisco State!

2. Defend AMED Studies from this existential threat by donating to the legal defense fund against this vicious attack on Palestinians and our friends on SFSU's campus.

Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) work in this country is making great strides, and we are fighting against zionist hasbara (propaganda) every single day as well.  Continue to support Dr. Abdulhadi and SFSU students, and defend our right to organize in support of the liberation of Palestine.

Support Reem’s California Against Racist Attacks!

Another wonderful friend of ours, Reem Assil, is the owner of a great Oakland, California, bakery called Reem’s California.

A dedicated member of the leadership of the San Francisco-based Arab Resource and Organizing Center, she commissioned the creation of a brilliant mural of Rasmea Odeh for the wall of her bakery. Since its unveiling, there has been a coordinated attack by racist, right-wing zionists to trash Reem’s name and ruin her business.

Over the past few weeks, dozens of negative, racist, anti-Palestinian comments have been posted on Google reviews, Facebook ratings, and Yelp!  Some of them have been cleaned up because they are clearly politically-motivated and have nothing to do with the business itself, but nonetheless, this racist campaign continues – zionists are leaving 1-star reviews to try to “punish” Reem for featuring a mural of our beloved Rasmea.

We’re asking you to join us in fighting back against this anti-Palestinian attack.  If you’re in the Bay Area:

1. Visit Reem’s California and then go to Google reviews and leave a 5-star review for the bakery. Also make sure to click the flag icon next to any racist reviews.

2. Go to https://www.yelp.com/biz/reems-oakland-5 and leave a 5-star review, and report the racist posts as well.

And tickets are going fast for Rasmea's farewell event.  GET YOURS NOW!
