Our kickoff canvass for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was a hugely positive experience, but we're going to have to keep hitting these doors if we're going to win!
On Saturday, we had 34 canvassers, who identified 45 strong or leaning supporters for the campaign and held 88 conversations with voters -- all on a day when many people were out enjoying the weather rather than hanging around to answer the door.
To keep the momentum going, we've planned another nine canvasses in Astoria over the next week and a half. Ultimately, it will be YOUR passion, time, and energy that persuade voters that a better world is possible, and that electing Alexandria to Congress is a step in the right direction.
