Design beautiful artwork with our easy-to-use templates
If you're seeing this email in your inbox, you are probably well-versed in the huge amount of packaging options you can find with our duplication services or on our online store. Whether you are into cassettes, CDs, or vinyl, we've got the sleeves and paper stock you need to turn your album into a gem. Some of you may be Photoshop wizards, but others may not be so digitally-skilled. That's why we offer a wide array of easy-to-use and absolutely free templates, so you can design your next album cover with ease!
Most of our templates are PDF files, so they are compatible with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and GIMP (free to download), just to name a few. Here are some helpful hints to keep in mind while you're designing:
• Keep the templates at a resolution of 300dpi.
• Add some bleed to your artwork! That way you eliminate the risk of white banding near the edge if there is a slight millimeter shift when cutting the paper stock.
• Similarly, keep a title safe area for your text. You don't want your text to be right up to the edge of the template. This risks slight cut-offs and it will be difficult to read when placed in the case.
• Do not flatten the artwork and template layers before sending it over to us to print. We will need to remove the template layer before finalizing the artwork.
CASSETTES
Are you interested in a J-card with an extra panel? How about a J-card with five extra panels? We have templates for both and everything in between! That includes O-cards, cassette albums, and cassette templates for pad print and etching.
If you don't have access to any photo editing software you can still design your J-card artwork directly on our website and place your order on the spot!
Jewel cases, gatefolds, DVD cases, Digipaks, we've got it all. As of last week we even have obi-strips for CDs! No matter what you need, there is a template available. Choose your poison!
Just like all the printed material listed above, we manufacture all our packaging in-house without the use of third-party companies. This means we can use our offset press to make durable and thick packaging while passing the savings on to you. We are particularly proud of our new vinyl jackets and innersleeves, which can be printed on nice 18pt board or extra thick 24pt using the offset press. And, of course, we have the templates for you to make your vinyl release beautiful!
