Registration has opened for the 2021 Annual Meeting! This year’s virtual meeting will be held from Monday, April 5 to Friday, April 9 alongside the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings.

Legislative Working Group Launch
We are delighted to announce the official launch of BWC's Legislative Working Group (LWG), the first of several thematic Working Group's under BWC's new program model. The LWG includes an experienced, bipartisan group of former U.S. officials who are driving the Committee’s efforts to educate policymakers on the importance of the IFIs. 
Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew joined LWG Co-Chairs Whitney Debevoise and Meg Lundsager on March 11 to launch the Working Group and to discuss a range of international economic policy challenges, including containing the pandemic, addressing climate change, and recommitting to U.S. leadership at the international financial institutions. Henry Owen Memorial Essay Contest 2021
This annual essay contest honors Ambassador Henry Owen, a founding member of the Bretton Woods Committee. This year, we asked students to consider how the Bretton Woods institutions can help secure a balanced, sustainable recovery from Covid-19. Know a graduate student who might be interested? Sultan Meghji was named as the first Chief Innovation Officer of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), charged with leading the FDIC’s efforts to promote the adoption of innovative technologies across the financial services sector.
Stormy-Annika Mildner
Stormy-Annika Mildner was nominated for the G7 Economic Resilience Panel. The Panel will develop proposals for the G7 Summit in June 2021 in line with the UK G7 Presidency’s wider agenda.
Kevin P. Gallagher
Kevin P. Gallagher was named co-chair of the T20 Task Force on International Finance, which will provide policy proposals to the G20 focused on international financial stability and other issues.
