What’s your new year’s resolution for 2022? For many, especially following the past 22 months since the start of COVID-19, it is based around financial inclusion and independence. Many Americans, specifically small business owners, have suffered tremendous hardship during these trying times. Building on decades of experience supporting small businesses, Global Patron Member Winrock International is working to address the critical needs of businesses recovering from the economic crisis brought about by COVID. Through a range of programming, Winrock offers services tailored to the specific needs of each business from needs assessments and loan preparation to mentoring for long-term business development and acceleration. Programs like the Southern Opportunity and Resilience Fund (SOAR) Technical Assistance Project, funded by the Visa Foundation, provide support to these small business owners, while also promoting economic growth. This Concordia Live will dive into Winrock’s goals, and the rehabilitation of America’s financial independence, to start the new year off on the right foot.
