As our 5-year anniversary approaches next week, I have spent some time going through photos and reminiscing on the early days of our business. No one ever said starting a business would be easy, and it certainly wasn't, but I can't help but be grateful for the immense amount of support we received from family and friends to get our dream up and running:
- Tessa's Dad helped us with all things start up including business planning, recipe testing, employee training, and many months of endless Q&A
- Matt's Mom lent her expertise by staining furniture, painting equipment, running countless errands, and doing absolutely everything it took to make our store beautiful
- We hired friends as our architect, furniture designer, furniture maker & social media consultants
- Other family members helped with legal review, sales, shipping, construction & packaging
- Tessa and Matt did as much as they had the skills to do (and many things they didn't have the skills to do, see electrical work above!)
It truly takes a village and now 5 years later, YOU are a part of our village. You may not realize it, but every share of a newsletter, "like" on social media, referral to a friend, or purchase in store or online adds up in a meaningful way. We are celebrating you and want to thank you with some special events coming up in the next few weeks.

On Friday, October 25th we'll be hosting our 5th Anniversary Bash. Due to overwhelming interest, the event sold out as soon as it hit social media, so we are now adding friends and family to our waitlist. If you'd like to sign up for a waitlist spot, click here.
