Hi Friend,

I want to start off your day by sharing some good news about dads.

Children’s Home & Aid’s Thriving Fathers & Families (TFF) program is about supporting dads as they strive to become better assets to their children, to their families and their communities. Dads who participate have access to a variety of free activities and information, including job placement, legal assistance, family building activities and educational support.

We recently heard from Greg, one of the dads who has been in the program for a year, and I wanted to share his story with you. This is just a portion of a letter we received from him.

“I am so excited to talk about TFF. When I first came, I had nothing... My mentor Jeremy has done his very best to assist me and even help with everyday tasks. I look forward to the outings, which are refreshing because I do not get out that often. It feels so good to hang out with other fathers and realize I am not alone. TFF helps me as a father to keep going. Thank you for everything!"  - Greg, TFF participant

The program supervisor MaShaun Alston says, “Dads and mothers are always saying good things about TFF. We try to get it right on all fronts and it’s always so wonderful to hear from the dads we support. The commitment and guidance the staff provides is second to none.”

Thank you, Friend, for letting me share Greg’s progress and enthusiasm for the TFF program and staff. Successes like these are made possible by generous friends like you. I look forward to sharing more great news in the future.

With gratitude,

Emily Scoby
