Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the first online workshop of the CEPR Research and Policy Network on Climate Change, taking place on Thursday 17 December.

Climate change will have dramatic consequences if our generation refuses to confront its responsibilities towards Humanity. In recent years, the crucial question has shifted from the nature of the climate problem to the shaping of the optimal societal answer. How should one adapt Society to address this question optimally? This network is aimed at addressing this crucial question. This initiative will generate, coordinate, and disseminate academic research related to this existential issue. The network seeks to foster a dialogue among academics and policymakers about the optimal policies to deal with fighting climate change, both in terms of mitigation and adaptation.

A detailed programme of the workshop can be found below.

Best wishes,
Christian Gollier, leader of the RPN on Climate Change.
