After the success of the autumn sessions, we are very happy to announce that the monthly political economics webinar series will resume after the Christmas break. 

The new set of confirmed speakers for the spring sessions is: Timothy Besley (London School of Economics and CEPR) on Wednesday 3rd of March, followed by Nancy Quian (Northwestern University and CEPR) on Wednesday 7th of April, Paola Giuliano (UCLA Anderson School of Management and CEPR) on the 5th of May and lastly by Francesco Trebbi (University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and CEPR) on the 2nd of June.

As usual the format of the webinar will be as follows: the speaker will have 60 minutes to present their research. During those 60 minutes, questions will be limited to clarifying questions. After that, there will be 15 minutes for general questions and discussions.

This series of webinars is organised by the CEPR Political Economy Group together with the Research and Policy Network on Populism and Research and Policy Network on Conflict.
