Le cas de Lagoa da Conceição au Brésil

Le 20 Mai 2021, des avocats et des chercheurs du Groupe de Recherche « Droit de l’Environnement et Écologie Politique dans la Société de Risque » (GPDA selon l'acronyme portugais) de l’Université Fédérale de Santa Catarina (UFSC) ont intenté une action en justice devant la Justice Fédérale brésilienne afin d'obtenir la reconnaissance de la lagune " Lagoa da Conceição" à Florianópolis (Santa Catarina, Brésil) comme sujet de droits, ainsi que le développement de nouvelles structures de gouvernance socio-écologique respectant l'intégrité écologique de cet écosystème. Le GPDA représente les organisations de la société civile "ONG Costa Legal", "Associação Florianopolitana das Entidades Comunitárias" et "Associação Pachamama".

L’action en justice se présente comme une réponse à des années d’irresponsabilité organisée et de négligence dans la gestion régionale de l’environnement (...)

On May 20, 2021, lawyers and researchers from the Environmental Law and Political Ecology Research Group (GPDA, acronym in Portuguese) of the Federal University of Santa-Catarina, filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court at Florianópolis (Brazil) seeking recognition of the lagoon "Lagoa da Conceição" as a subject of rights and the development of new structures of socio-ecological governance in respect of the ecological integrity of this ecosystem. GPDA is representing the civil society organizations “ONG Costa Legal,” “Associação Florianopolitana das Entidades Comunitárias,” and “Associação Pachamama".

The legal action is a response to years of organized irresponsibility and neglect of the environment in the region (...)

El 20 de mayo de 2021, abogados e investigadores del Grupo de Investigación “Derecho Ambiental y Ecología Política en la Sociedad de Riesgo” de la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina (GPDA / UFSC) propusieron una Acción Pública Civil ante la Justicia Federal para solicitar el reconocimiento de la laguna "Lagoa da Conceição" en Florianópolis (Santa Catarina, Brasil) como sujeto de derechos y el desarrollo de nuevas estructuras de gobernanza socioecológica, respetando la integridad ecológica de este ecosistema. GPDA representa a lasorganizaciones de lasociedad civil "ONG Costa Legal", "Associação Florianopolitana das Entidades Comunitárias" y "Associação Pachamama".

La litigación es una respuesta a años de irresponsabilidad organizada y negligencia en la gestión ambiental de la región (...)
