• Professor Annie Antón recently received the Dean George C. Griffin Faculty of the Year Award. The honor is bestowed by the consent of the majority of the Student Government House through secret ballots. Antón (below) had the opportunity to "show" the award certificate to Georgia Tech's statue of Dean Griffin, for whom the award is named.
• Congratulations to Team 7334 for winning the 2018 Spring Computer Science Junior Design Expo. The team's virtual reality game, The Archaic Tower, is a tower defense game that lets a player create and cast spells. Each team member won an Amazon Echo. Look for the full story in the next issue of Compiler.
