Chicago Mayor Visits with Students

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and a group of business leaders were in Atlanta last week visiting students at local higher ed institutions. Following stops at Spelman College and Morehouse College, the Windy City contingent visited Georgia Tech to meet with a group of students from the colleges of Computing and Engineering. One of the key topics of discussion was corporate responsibility. Full Story

• The Center for Teaching and Learning invites tenured faculty members to apply to become Provost Teaching and Learning Fellows. Accepted fellows serve two-year terms and are supported by an annual stipend. The deadline to apply is March 26.

• More than 100 first- and second-year computer science and computational media students recently attended the College's Undergraduate Threads Fair. Held March 6, the event was an opportunity for undergraduates to connect with faculty and students representing all of the CS and LMC thread programs.
