HPC Hackathon Accelerates Research

Whether it's physics, medicine, or computer science, researchers across campus are leveraging the power and potential of high-performance computing (HPC) in their work. These researchers recently had a chance to make some quick progress on their current projects thanks to an HPC hackathon. Hosted by the School of CSE and organized by GT Computing Assistant Professor Spencer Bryngelson, the event provided participants with a unique opportunity to test their software on some of the most powerful HPC hardware available on campus.
