College Leapfrogs National Competition in Graduate CS 

Computing at Georgia Tech has leaped forward two spots to No. 6 overall in the U.S. News Graduate Rankings for 2023 released this week. Our computer science program is the only top 10 graduate computing program to advance more than one position in the overall rankings. We've also moved up in some key specialty areas.

>> Congratulations to alumnus Fred Hohman (Ph.D. CSE 20) for winning a 2022 SIGCHI Outstanding Dissertation Award. The award recognizes outstanding research contributions from recently graduated Ph.D. students within the human-computer interaction community.

>> Congratulations to School of CSE Assistant Professor Srijan Kumar who was recently received an Outstanding Program Committee Member Award from the 15th ACM International WSDM Conference.
