Student Creates DeepSee to Find Sediment Deposits   

What began as an internship at NASA turned into a unique opportunity for Ph.D. student Adam Coscia. His interactive data visualization tool is helping oceanographers and scientists associated with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and CalTech improve the efficiency of sea-floor sediment mapping expeditions.
