Checking out Your Shopping Basket  Footprint

With Lockdown 2.0 announced, we've made our "Sustainable Recovery from COVID-19 Event" video & resources available on-line for all.  This 1h YouTube video covers sustainability legal updates, Homework Footprint and case studies - essential viewing.

As most of us reading are now measuring our own Carbon Footprint (as an organisation and also personally) our attention moves to those 'secondary choices'. We launch our Shopping Basket Footprint WebApp as a tool to help us think about lifestyle & purchase decisions.

Finally, down the length and breadth of mainland UK and Northern Ireland, tree planting is still able to take place and is in full swing. Some delightful events have taken place with school children planting in their year 'bubbles' as well as nature reserve locations where planting is sorely needed to support biodiversity.

New App Shows What Yours is?

Most of us are now measuring our business's Carbon Footprint, our Personal Carbon Footprint and also encouraging our colleagues to do the same.

Our exciting new WebApp lets you work out the Carbon Footprint of your weekly shop, find out how good it is and provides tips on choices to reduce it.

Designed to work best on your Android or IOS (Apple) device, Shopping Basket Footprint also works on your laptop too.

A handy & easy to use tools to help you and your colleagues make more sustainable choices at home that also complement and reinforce  practices at work.

Growing Again - Tree Planting Made Child's Play

Almost 30,000 trees have already been allocated for planting at the start of the autumn planting season. Children have taken excitedly to School grounds in their 'bubbles'. From locations as far north as Glasgow down to Guildford in the South, it's been all action. Also important planting in nature reserves and community woodlands has been happening; as well as tackling climate change, the planting is helping to redress imbalances in biodiversity caused when volunteers could not tend sites during the pandemic lockdown during the spring.
