Climate Change Target Setting in Your Business
Autumn is upon us and it is now time to lock down and get your carbon and energy management in order. Over the summer, the UK wrote its commitment to Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050 into law; we now all need to look at how this will affect us and our target setting. To aid in this, the next Sustainable Business Network workshop is focused on 'Setting Climate Change Targets in your Business', whilst back on-line we have tools to help you determine what to do, particularly if your programme is at an early stage.
Autumn also marks the start of our UK Tree Planting season and we update on our progress and sites there.

UK Tree Planting Programme - All Mapped Out
With your support we have planted extensively across the UK and you can see exactly where by looking at our Interactive Tree Map.
Our UK programme focuses on planting in schools and nature reserves, planting solely native broad leaf species that support the UK's biodiversity.
We are gearing up now for the tree planting season and hope that you can be involved, either hands on at a Corporate Tree Planting event, or by sponsoring trees again.
This comes at a time when the need for tree planting in this country has never been higher. Towards the country's Net Zero carbon emissions target (for 2050), the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) estimates that equivalent of 30,000 hectares of forest need to be planted each year.
