Compliance Reporting - CRC
You will need to compile your report, maintain an evidence pack and complete an internal audit.The 2017/18 CRC data year has now finished - starting what is the now the final year of the CRC. If your business is within scope, you will need to start your reports and get ready to surrender allowances.
Key dates for CRC from this point are:
- 29 July 2018 Report Deadline
- 31 October 2018 Allowance Surrender Deadline

ISO 14001:2015 - 4 months to go
Time is running out to get your old ISO 14001 updated to the ISO 14001:2015 standard with just over 4 months to go! As a reminder, your old ISO 14001 will cease to be valid after mid-September 2018.
Getting it done - If you still need to update your ISO 14001, we recommend that you:
- Complete our on-line Gap Test - to check how much work you need to do
- Contact your UKAS accredited auditor to get an audit date - their diaries are notoriously full so don't leave this too late

Spring 2018 Planting Progress
We have been making tree-mendous (sorry for the pun) progress with the UK, Kenya and Europe Tree Planting projects over the past few months. Here is a quick summary of our success:
- Close to 20,000 trees planted
- All native species - providing maximum support for the environment and biodiversity
- In the UK, we have planted on schools sites around the country from Edinburgh to Truro
- The most popular UK species this season have been Willow, Hawthorn and, of course, English Oak
