Leo & Helen: The Lost City of the Americas is a fantasy story featuring mixed-race twins.
It's a story where mirrors are portals to the past, crowns hold power to the future, and mixed race twins move things with their minds.
Leo and Helen are twins who on their thirteenth birthday begin the journey of uncovering what happened to their mother the night of their birth: her mysterious disappearance remains unsolved.
The basic idea for Leo and Helen, was a Carmen Sandiego / Indiana Jones / Uncharted /Tomb Raider-esque adventure where instead of going to historical sites in the present day, Leo and Helen literally travel in time to the sites of the seven wonders of the world while they were still prominent. This being speculative fiction, Leo and Helen are both telekinetic and telepathic, they can move things with their mind, and they can communicate with their mind.
