In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, our theme this year - Economic Stability is Family Stability - highlights the connections between financial insecurity and parental stress. There are solutions - by reducing the impacts of economic shocks, like diaper insecurity, we can meaningfully reduce a family’s likelihood of interacting with the child welfare system.
