HELP WITH INTERNATIONAL WALK & ROLL DAY BAGGING (9/12) and/or DELIVERIES TO PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS (9/13-9/18)
We are seeking numerous volunteers to help us bag promotional items AND then to deliver bags to participating schools across Sonoma County. Please read on for information on each task and how to sign up to help!
Promotional Materials Bagging (Thurs, Sept 12th 12pm-4pm):
Come to SCBC and help our SRTS staff bag promotional materials (banners, posters, stickers and other promotional items) for our International Walk and Roll to School Day event and ongoing Walk/Roll Days. We’re filling bags with hundreds of items for ~65 schools and need a few good helpers to help the process go by fast! Promotional Materials Bag Delivery (between Fri 9/13 & Wed 9/18):
We are seeking numerous volunteers to assist in delivering bags of promotional items to schools participating in International Walk and Roll to School Day & ongoing Walk/Roll programs. Whether you can deliver to one school or a few, we would love your help.
Pick Up:Bags need to be picked up at the Coalition Office between 3pm-6:30pm on Thursday 9/12, or by appointment on Friday 9/13 or Monday 9/16. Delivery: Bags must be delivered to schools during school hours preferably no later than Wednesday 9/18.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR DELIVERIES: 1) CLICK HERE to access the google doc and sign up directly for your preferred schools/locations.If someone has already signed up for your preferred sites, hopefully you can choose another...or pass on this year. 2) IF YOU CANNOT ACCESS or TYPE INTO the school delivery google doc, contact Tina Panza at tinap@bikesonoma.org or 707-799-3911 to arrange to volunteer.
