Community Open House - Tonight!

The City of Santa Rosa is updating its Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and they want to hear from you! The Plan Update 2018 is a critical tool in building a citywide transportation system that is bicycle and pedestrian friendly. The City will be hosting an open house on Wednesday July 25, and they need your input to help us review and prioritize the current bicycle and pedestrian network recommendations before the Draft Plan is released later this fall. This is your opportunity to help ensure that all bicycle and pedestrian needs are being considered and prioritized appropriately, including:
- Emphasizing the urgent need to construct the at-grade bike/pedestrian crossing of the SMART tracks at Jennings Avenue! Learn more about the importance of the Jennings Avenue Crossing and add your name to our letter of support for its construction here.
- Expressing support for a safe bicycle route and connection from Spring Lake Park and Annandel to Highway 12 and the south.
