After the courts ruled that the County must pay damages to cyclist Catherine Williams, severely injured from hitting a very large and previously reported pothole, she said, "Your ability to mount a public awareness and advocacy campaign put the appropriate pressure on the county...You did an outstanding job of mobilizing hundreds of people – you kept our community informed along the way with your posts, comments in the press, and emails. You were able to help our community understand why and how my case relates to their well-being and safety."
