Give to SCBC Today and Your Donation Will be Matched Dollar for Dollar!

Dear Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition Friends and Supporters,

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we invite you to celebrate this global day of charitable giving  with a donation to the Coalition to support our work to make Sonoma County the best place to ride a bike for people of all ages.

We are proud to be empowering adults and children to feel safe and enthusiastic about biking, but we can’t do it without your help.

NOW is the time to give! We've received a $10,000 matching funds gift from generous donors!

Make a donation to SCBC today and your gift will be matched dollar for dollar!

Your financial support allows us to continue our impactful work. Here's only some of what we've accomplished this past year with your help:
  • Engaged and supported 10,000+ students countywide in Walk & Roll to School events.
  • Taught classroom bicycle and/or pedestrian safety lessons to over 4,000 students.
  • Provided ~2,600 children with on-bicycle training, and access to low cost or free helmets and free bicycle repairs.
  • Provided monthly free or low-cost Family Bike Workshops and Smart Cycling Seminars to children, adults and families.
At SCBC, we are fortunate to see and hear first-hand the lasting impact that our work has on adults, children and families in our community.  Your support enables these life-altering experiences.

"Our 4th Grade on-bicycle rodeo was a fabulous event.  I am so pleased to see children riding their bikes to school now.  They were both thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to experience it!!  They have been riding their bikes more and more. A huge THANK YOU to all!"
~Beverly Jones, (former) Principal
Helen Lehman Elementary School

"The Safe Routes to School program allowed me to think outside of the box and recognize that I would be able to bicycle with my daughter to school. When schools put effort into encouraging families to walk and bike, it can really be a catalyst for behavior change. I witnessed the difference it made at my child’s school. The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition’s Safe Routes to School program provided the support I needed to first change my own behavior, then to champion the Walk and Roll program to inspire even more families!"
~Connie Sultana
Former Safe Routes to School Volunteer Parent Champion

Please join us on this day of giving by making a donation to SCBC to support our work in expanding and educating this and the next generation of cyclists.
