Class 1 Bike Paths to Re-Open

The Sonoma County Health Officer has issued a new order lifting some of the restrictions on the use of parks. (You can read the full order here.)

Class 1 multiuse paths (like Joe Rodota) are now open to cyclists again - YAY!

Parks are open for use by those who can walk or bike to them - parking lots are closed. (No fair driving your bike somewhere to ride!) Play equipment, bathrooms, things you can touch are closed.

You must follow the 6-foot social distancing protocol, and carry a face covering to be worn if you must pass close to someone. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, stay home. (They CDC just added to the list of symptoms.)

Everything at the coast remains closed.

If the parks get too crowded, if too many people violate the rules, if social distancing is not followed - THEY WILL CLOSE THEM AGAIN.

So, please, let's get out and enjoy this gorgeous weather...but maintain distance, be courteous to other users and give them a wide berth, don't exceed the 15 mph speed limit on the paths, and carry/wear a face covering.
