Advocacy Update

Successful Advocacy for Safer Roads: It’s easy to complain about problems we experience on the road; when progress is made, it’s useful to reflect on the actions that led to success. Here are a few thoughts on a small, recent win on Petaluma Hill Road.

Positive Outcomes at the State Level: The California Legislature has passed SB 288, which exempts certain public transit and active transportation projects from CEQA for two years. This will allow many bicycle paths and other active transportation projects to get built faster. It awaits Governor Newsom's signature - contact him!
