Local elections are an opportunity to voice your support for a more bike-friendly Sonoma County!  We’re here to help you Bike the Vote by sharing our positions on relevant ballot measures, as well as City Council candidates’ responses to our questions on bicycling issues.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we cannot endorse candidates for public office, but we are able to share information so that you can arrive at your own conclusion. We have distributed a questionnaire to all Sonoma County city council candidates, and their responses are posted online as we receive them.

SCBC  supports the GoSonoma Act, extending the Measure M transportation tax.

The City of Santa Rosa is requesting public input by August 31 to help finalize language for the Downtown Station Area Specific Plan Update (DSASP) before the draft the plan is presented at the Planning Commission and City Council meetings. The DSASP establishes a long-range vision for higher-density development, creation of an energetic commercial space, and enhanced connectivity in Downtown Santa Rosa, which includes Railroad Square, Courthouse Square, and the neighboring historic neighborhoods.
