Despite overwhelming public support (including Santa Rosa City Council and Press Democrat editorial board) for an at-grade bike/pedestrian crossing at Jennings Avenue, SMART's General Manager continues to oppose it. Many citizens have spoken out during public comment at SMART Board meetings, but the Board itself has not put the issue on their agenda for discussion and/or action.
