AGRICULTURE WEEK
This week, Kimberly and Team BIZON will be focusing on Agriculture.
"Farmers feed America and the world. They deserve better."- Kimberly
Kimberly was raised on a family farm in the Thumb and understands the hard work that goes into farming. She will work for fair farm policies — including common-sense subsidies that put family farms ahead of corporate agribusiness. She wans to expand opportunities for a new generation of true family farms that take advantage of the organic and farm-to-table movements. She will also push to expand sustainable and diverse economic development like tourism and alternative energy production to make the 10th District thrive in every season.
We apologize for the late weekly email. Let's keep Shelby, our Communications Director in our prayers to a speedy recovery.
WHERE HAS KIMBERLY BEEN THIS WEEK?

LAPEER CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY AT 6:30PM
Kimberly will be attending the Lapeer City Council Meeting focused on staying connected with small local businesses.
TUESDAY:
WALK IN MACOMB
Kimberly was joined by OPEIU Local 40, Moms Demand Action and Barb. They delivered 400+ door hangers.
Please be on the lookout for our next Walk. We only drop off door hangers - we do not walk. Everyone had a great time, plus got some exercise. We do not pay our volunteers like the "other side". If you want to "Walk your Neighborhood" or get your own turf, please sign up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-NMGIZzq18Fx2eQiOldl0ymERxtWPRxIMDabYJuxSqk/edit
WEDNESDAY
Kimberly gave an interview with a research company on "Why do first-time candidates choose to run again in 2020, even if they lost and even if they are in a gerrymandered district". The report will be out in the fall and a book to follow possibly. Kimberly is proud to run again and if considered an "underdog" that is only because of the money inequality issue.
