The entrepreneurs delivered once again! Top 20 Pitch Night for the Life Sciences Investment summit left the audience "blown away by the quality of the ideas being developed," to use the words of one attendee.
And we agree!
Pitch night was “AMAZING” and showcased “really fabulous companies out of Alberta” from therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices and vet tech.
All 10 partners helped co-hosted! 170+ attendees joined us across Zoom, YouTube, and LinkedIn Live. 100 guests joined after parties in 3 cities! Catch all the pitches here

With $2,310 donated to the bar tab and some additional coverage from TNT, we had ourselves quite possibly the best mingle-free party this province has ever seen!
Reg brought his son. Spontaneous trips to Vegas were being planned. Everyone kept looking up smiling as they realized some generous anonymous donors had covered their tabs!
VCs, ambassadors, cleantech entrepreneurs, science-entrepreneurs, students, Life sciences investors stayed right until they kicked us out into the cold at Midnight!
YYC's afterparty at Briggs was a bunch o' fun!
We had founders who'd pitched that evening there - like Lauren Wright from Natural Nipple, who talked about how much she prefers doing business in Canada vs. our neighbours to the south and Anthony, who was sharing samples Cannabiscuit's range of treats and supplements for our canine friends (rumor has it one of our investors even sampled them!)
Our Scottish friends and founders of Yaldi Renting, Mike and Scott Andrews, were out and being their amazing selves, discussing pivoting and updating us on Yaldi.
Over in Saskatoon, Jesse hosted an out of town guest from Red Leaf Capital and North Forge East at Happy Hour.

We are both sad to see her go and happy for her new adventure! Christiana is starting a new position in Europe! She’s been an avid TNT supporter since our early days, In fact she was one of the very first people to answer this call with a resounding yes way back in Week 16:
