This new, free January - March Planning Kit is packed with resources, just like our last one, with ready-to-use items for your classrooms and resources to better engage students who have limited or no access to the internet, or school routine. Search by grade level and subject area.
 

Teacher Planning Kit free virtual event: Thursday, Jan. 14
Register Now! In this one-hour webinar, PBS Digital Innovator All-Stars Mariana Athayde, Crystal Monteiro, Gabe Garcia and Warren Wise, will review the new kit and discuss how you can use it to plan upcoming lessons. They’ll also highlight dozens of great resources and lessons you can use with your students to have conversations about race, racial justice and advocacy into your classrooms.
 

"We the Young People” virtual event: Thursday, Jan. 14
Join PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs (SRL), in partnership with WORLD Channel, to hear from young people about what their hopes and expectations are for the new presidential administration. Teacher materials and free registration for everyone can be found here.

"MLK: Celebrating the Legacy” will air on Arizona PBS 8.1 on Monday, Jan. 18 at 5:30 p.m. and simulcast on social media and azpbs.org. Community leaders across the Valley will come together to reflect on the effects of the ''I Have a Dream” speech.
