As smoke chokes the West, California governor says fires show the reality of climate change
California Gov. Gavin Newsom says nearly 3.2 million acres have burned in California. The damage is estimated to cost $2 billion to clean up and restore. Studies show that wildfires in the West are likely to continue to increase in frequency and severity. Rising together: Phoenix FC welcomes fans back amid COVID-19 pandemic
The Valley is showing signs of a new normal, at the first live crowd Arizona professional sporting event since the COVID-19 pandemic came into the world. Fans attending the Phoenix Rising FC and Las Vegas Lights match were parked at least 6 feet apart and took social distancing to a new extreme. More >> |
