Getting into a school routine
With school routines beginning, it is helpful to discuss how the activities change from day to day, from morning to afternoon. Encourage younger children to draw different things they do (i.e. brushing teeth, playing outside, reading). Older children can use short phrases and keywords to identify important tasks.
