Protecting the nation requires strong leadership and international unity.
For over a century, the world viewed America as a global leader and reliable ally. Unfortunately, the erratic, often self-contradictory, messages the current Administration and Republicans send from Washington are straining our alliances and emboldening our adversaries. The world is a more dangerous place without America’s steadfast leadership and resolve. Kimberly will support policies where America leads by example and rallies the world to meet our common challenges that no one nation can face alone, like climate change, nuclear proliferation, transnational terrorism, cyberwarfare, and mass migration. These threats do not recognize borders. Strong alliances are necessary to protect our national security.
Kimberly is dedicated to protecting our borders and our National Security. She will support legislation that protects our borders, and will also work for immigration reform. Kimberly will support U.S. and international asylum laws and she will NOT support the separation of families. Kimberly is well aware that climate change is causing mass migration, and the U.S. and our allies will need to prepare for greater numbers of people seeking asylum in the future. Kimberly will be "boots on the ground" this week (literally). She has a meet-n-greet with local business leaders and will head up to the Thumb to visit one on one with the local farmers discussing their challenges and discuss new crop and manufacturing opportunities.
