My fourth Bromsgrove Pensioners' Fair is only 10 days away - and with over 50 fantastic exhibitors confirmed, a series of live performances and a small number of heart shaped balloons on order - it's set to be the best yet.
The Fair will take place on Friday, February 14th, 10am-12noon at Parkside Hall, Market St, Bromsgrove, B61 8DA.
The best of Bromsgrove's businesses, charities and social clubs will be on hand to chat to attendees, provide free information and advice and help fill those diaries.
I'm also looking forward to welcoming several new exhibitors to the Fair, including Bromsgrove Walking Sports Centre, DentaDenta and the Avoncroft Folk Dance Group.
This community event would not be possible without your support, so please spread the word and come down on the day if you get the chance.
In other news, I was delighted to see the latest ONS figures report a decline in unemployment in Bromsgrove.
The local unemployment rate remains just 1.9%. There is always more to be done, but as we reflect on the decade since I was first elected, it's reduced by over 20%, which is certainly encouraging news.
Finally, as you will have seen - on January 31st, the United Kingdom left the European Union.
The Brexit debate has dominated politics for the last three years. By leaving, we have delivered on the promise of the 2016 referendum and our pledge to Get Brexit Done.
But our work is just beginning. This is the start of an exciting new chapter, with huge opportunity ahead - and to seize it, we must work together.
So as we step forward into this new era, we will do so with confidence and a clear sense of purpose.
To level up all regions of the UK, spread prosperity and opportunity and unleash the huge potential of our great country.
As ever, I'm always here if you need my help, so please get in touch via sajid.javid.mp@parliament.uk.
Best wishes,

Sajid Javid
