FRED KELLER ANNOUNCES FIRST ROUND OF BIPARTISAN CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN ENDORSEMENTS
The Republican nominee gets endorsed by 24 county commissioners from across Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District
Selinsgrove, Pa. -- Two days after discussing his plans to help local governments in Congress at the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania conference, State Rep. Fred Keller today announced bipartisan endorsements from 24 county commissioners across Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District.
Keller, the Republican nominee for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 12th District special election on May 21, thanked the commissioners for their support and pledged to continue working with them to ensure their local communities are represented in Washington.
"The government that is closest to the people is the most efficient form of government, and I'm going to Congress to make sure that our local elected officials have all the resources they need to do their jobs effectively,” Keller said.
Democrat Snyder County Commissioner Peggy Chamberlain Roup said: “I have worked with Fred on a number of local issues. Each time, Fred has answered the call and delivered for the people of Snyder County. Having known Fred and his family for many years, I can attest to his character and honesty. He is a strong family man whose values reflect the 12th Congressional District. Throughout my county service I have always stressed people over politics. That is why I am proud to support Fred for Congress.”
