Welcome to the July 2018 edition of Sajid Javid MP's newsletter
WELCOME
This month we paid tribute to many of our national heroes. We began by celebrating Carers Week. It is so important to recognise the huge contribution of carers in Bromsgrove and across the country. We must do all we can to support the amazing work that they do.

A few weeks ago, on Armed Forces Day, we showed our support and eternal gratitude to  the men and women of our Armed Forces.  Thank you to all those serving, to veterans and to their families for their service & sacrifice.

Finally, with World Cup fever sweeping the country,  and the Cross of St George flying across Whitehall, I'd like to wish the England team the best of luck on Wednesday!

Please do get in touch with my office on sajid.javid.mp@parliament.uk if I can be of any assistance.

Best wishes,

Sajid Javid
Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove
RECENT ACTIVITY
Thank you to all my constituents who came to my local Flood Forum following the devastating recent floods in Wythall.

As the community recovers, I’m working to make sure that every resident receives the best services and advice available.
I’d like to thank the Association of British Insurers and the National Flood Forum for sending representatives, as well as Worcestershire County Council and Bromsgrove District Council for their outstanding response in a difficult set of circumstances.

I’ll be behind Wythall every step of the way, do get in touch if you need help.
I recently visited St John’s Church in Bromsgrove to learn more about fundraising plans for repairs and renovations to the steeple. I'm determined to help this great cause.
Thank you all that attended my Bromsgrove Business Lunch at Hagley Hall. We had a fantastic turnout, it was great to see so many of you there.

Bromsgrove businesses are at the very heart of our local economy. I look forward to visiting more of you over the summer.
It was brilliant to join Bromsgrove’s historic Court Leet Fair and procession.

The day achieved two very important things; it brought our community together and it supported local charities.

Thank you to everyone who came and played a part in upholding this brilliant local tradition.
I was really pleased to catch up with Paul Robinson, the new Chief Executive of Worcestershire County Council, and Council Leader, Simon Geraghty.

We had a productive meeting, discussing a range of important issues, not least local children’s services and schooling in Bromsgrove.
