Help Make a Difference!

Our hearts hurt for the people of Ukraine. We are saddened by the events taking place, and pray that the Lord brings healing and peace during this warring time. We ask that you join us in prayer and pray that God's love and peace would be made evident to those affected by this tragedy, and to those who may be experiencing loss. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA volunteer, you can keep abused and neglected children safe while they reach a safe, permanent home. CASA volunteers get to know the child and everyone involved in the child’s life. They advocate for the child’s best interest while in foster care and provide a consistent, reliable adult presence for them during a difficult time in their life. Check the resources available in the Missions corner as we highlight CASA and ORPHAN CARE for the month of April. Chick Fil A Meal at 5:30pm
We will be serving Chick Fil A sandwiches, along with a drink and chips, for $5 out of the cafe on Wednesday night.

Don't miss out on the Singing Men of Texas performance taking place on Thursday, April 7 at 7pm at First Baptist Church Waxahachie!
These ministers of music, Baptist professors, and church staff members find great joy in lifting each other up in prayer, and singing together at eight concerts annually. On most Sundays, you can find the Singing Men in churches across Texas leading worship in a diversity of styles. Their music has been heard around the world, inspiring audiences and encouraging churches in England, China, Australia, Brazil, Spain, Romania, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, and Ukraine. The concert is free. An offering will be received to offset the expenses of their mission and recording projects. Don’t miss this exciting night of worship!

The Adult Adventurers are going on a trip to Arlington to visit the Top O' Hill Terrace. They will have lunch at Campo Verde, and they will visit the Decorator's Warehouse Christmas Store.
